February is the month of love and what better way to celebrate love than with words, or emotions read out loud? A group of Ilonggo writers, founded by young writers from Gamot Cogon School has been conducting poetry readings for the past two months and for the month of February poetry enthusiasts brought poems about love and read them to the eager crowd.

The said event aims to gather writers, create a community, promote the growth of the art, and inspire young writers to create because there is an audience that is willing to dedicate their Saturday night to hearing their lovely woven words.

The group is inviting poets to grace next month’s poetry reading and bring poems, preferably original, with the theme “woman” because March is Women’s month.
